The Wines of Hop Kiln

Hop Kiln wines are produced at the 100-year-old landmark of our historic, nineteenth century ranch.  The wines reflect a dedication to quality, respect for the property’s past and commitment to the future of brilliant winemaking.

Hop Kiln Winery releases gorgeous single varietal whites including lush Chardonnay and a crisp Sauvignon Blanc, a festive Rosè, and reds including Grenache and a bold Malbec.  In addition, we really have a flare for the proprietary blend, like the attractive floral, smooth and spicy white Thousand Flowers, whose 2008 vintage took a Silver Medal and Best of Class at the California State Fair. The legendary Big Red blend is as drinkable as it is infamous. Gold Medal-winning Rushin’ River Red is an ever-evolving blend of classic Rhone staples Syrah and Grenache that produces a dense, seductive, and earthy final product which took the top prize at the 2008 San Francisco Chronicle Wine Competition.

All of our wines echo the winery's past and the popularity of our traditional style:  bold, flavorful reds and fresh, bright whites. Like the towering kilns, we stand tall and proud with Hop Kiln wines year after year.
